Manufactured circa 1855 by Volcanic prior to the Volcanic reorganization to New Haven Arms Co. Two digit serial number 74 found under the grips. Estimated only 850 of these were made. This number 1 pocket pistol features a 3-1/2″ barrel, rear notch and blade front sight. Top of the barrel is stamped “NEW HAVEN, CONN / PATENT FED. 14 1854”. Lever action with a full length barrel magazine tube. Brass frame with gold wash finish. Fitted with smooth walnut grips. CALIBER: 31 Cal. S/N: 74. FFL STATUS: Antique.
